Wattisfield and District Riding Club

Wattisfield and District Riding Club was formed in October 2013 and has since enjoyed an ever-increasing list of members over the past two years. What started as wishful thinking has become reality, and we now have a BRC Affiliated Riding Club for our members and their horses to enjoy. With our affiliation to the British Riding Club Association (BRC) we are subsequently part of ‘Area 14’ which gives us the chance to compete as both individuals and as a team in a number of competitions through-out Suffolk, Norfolk & Essex very year.

We have a brilliant setup of people on the committee who all bring something different to the table, as well as several volunteers who are willing to help out at events.  

At WDRC we aim to cater for all levels of rider from novice to experienced. At the moment, our club is in its early days but we wish to continue the hard work to help and listen to our members. Our membership offers a wide range of opportunities for members. We will be holding a range of events each year.

Our membership offers a wide range of opportunities to you, your horse and the club, and we will be holding a range of varying events throughout the year. Details of these can be found on our events page.

We have previously held the following types of events:

Dressage

Showjumping  Competitions

Clinics and Demostrations

Group trips to National Events  (Burghley Horse Trials & Olympia)

Membership 

As a member of our club you will be able to participate in these events at a discounted rate. You will also be given the opportunity to bring your own suggestions to the club which you think we could hold. Remember it’s your club as well as ours!

As part of your club membership, you will also get BRC Membership. This allows you to represent our club at competitions both locally (Area 14) and nationally (Championships).

Membership runs from the 1st January to the 31st December each year.

Non-Riding Membership = £15 a year                 Riding Membership = £20 a year
